Description:
Performing 100% of manufacturer’s recommended maintenance on utility systems and medical equipment is challenging. Very few healthcare organizations have the resources to sustain preventive maintenance as prescribed by manufacturers. So now is the time to implement a documented alternative equipment maintenance (AEM) program and prioritize the allocation of precious maintenance staff and resources.
There is a lot of discussion in the Healthcare industry right now about AEM, as it relates to both clinical and utility assets, and similarly a lot of confusion and misunderstanding. That confusion and misunderstanding is in some cases preventing Healthcare providers from taking the necessary steps to implement the program, simply out of the fear of doing it wrong. Once more, you are likely already taking the foundational steps needed to implement.
Join us for a lunch & learn as our panel discusses the “what”, “why” and “how” of an AEM program so that you, as a facility manager, can move forward in a meaningful way and with the confidence that you are doing it correctly. No matter where you are in your AEM journey, we’ll share the steps needed to demystify and successfully implement an AEM strategy at your facility.
Learning objectives:
- Why you should consider an AEM strategy
- 10 steps for a successful AEM program
- Benefits of technology in your AEM strategy
