While zero Legionella in hospital water systems might not be attainable, zero cases of Legionnaires’ disease can be. An essential part of preventing Legionnaires disease is to evaluate the presence of Legionella in hospital building water systems and then take the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the disease. In this webinar, renowned Legionella expert Dr. Janet E Stout will discuss prevention and control strategies for Legionella healthcare facilities, and implementing water safety and management practices that comply with CMS, including controlling other waterborne pathogens.
