ASHE Academy brings in-depth health care physical environment education to Indianapolis

CHICAGO — Registration is now open for ASHE Academy, the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE)’s intensive in-person professional development program, taking place May 6-10, 2024, at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown in Indianapolis.

ASHE Academy compiles several of ASHE’s education programs and presents them in a focused classroom setting, allowing professionals at all stages of their careers to learn from experts in the health care physical environment field and build their skills in a personalized, small-group context. Participants can tailor their coursework to areas that will have the greatest impact on their careers by enrolling in individual courses or cost-saving course bundles concentrating on health care facilities management, health care construction and contracting, infection prevention and more.

ASHE Academy participants can earn continuing education credits toward obtaining or renewing relevant certifications including Certified Health Care Facility Manager (CHFM), Certified Health Care Constructor (CHC) and more. In addition, ASHE Academy programming includes review sessions for CHFM and CHC exams.

Program offerings include the following ASHE courses: Working in Health Care; Physical Environment Survey Readiness Program; Health Care Construction Workshop; Managing Infection Prevention in Health Care Facilities; Door Inspection and Maintenance Workshop; ASHE ICRA 2.0™ Train-the-Trainer; and the Water Management Program Development Workshop.
