Our Project
As architect and engineer or record, GHA worked closely with MetroHealth to transform their campus, reimagining a campus that better served their mission and community, prepare for future growth, elevate best practices, and provide the most technologically advanced and compassionate patient-care experience. The first phase is The Glick Center, a beautiful forward-thinking facility rooted in evidence based, lean, and data-driven planning and design to streamline staff efficiency and improved patient care. The wave-like profile of the white terracotta facade echoes the nearby Lake Erie and Cuyahoga River and creates a visible beacon of hope in the community within a restored park. Each floor of the flexible 288-bed universal bed tower will accept change and advancements in technology and care delivery ensuring MetroHealth continues to serve the community and their mission for generations to come. The Glick Center will be LEED and Well Building certified.
