ASHE Announces Details and Registration for 2025 Health Care Facilities Innovation Conference
CHICAGO — The American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) has opened registration for the Health Care Facilities Innovation Conference™, which will take place July 27-30, 2025, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.
The Health Care Facilities Innovation Conference (formerly the ASHE Annual Conference & Technical Exhibition) has served as the premier conference for professionals in the health care facilities field for more than six decades. Now in its second year under the new moniker, the rebranded conference reflects ASHE’s commitment to equipping its members to meet the opportunities and challenges presented by the rapidly changing health care field.
The conference serves an array of health care physical environment professionals, including health care facilities managers, hospital and health system executive leadership, construction managers, infection preventionists, safety professionals and technicians at all career stages.
Keynote sessions include presentations by bestselling author Diana Kander, who will teach attendees how to cultivate a culture of curiosity to uncover blind spots and drive innovation in their workplaces; and Jack Becker, who will impart his experiences as a decorated veteran Navy airman and instructor into a dynamic session on peak performance, leadership and achieving replicable successful outcomes.
Other noteworthy sessions include an exploration of the rise in digital owner representation in health care construction; an introduction to a practical approach for energy management in hospitals; a primer on applying the Life Safety Code® to virtual reality technology; case studies on how hospitals are building resilience against natural disasters; and a crash course on health care facilities asset management.
Tailored conference tracks at four knowledge levels align with different career stages, from foundational to strategic, empowering attendees to choose a personalized conference experience while earning continuing education credits toward Certified Health Care Facility Manager and other industry-standard certifications.
The Health Care Facilities Innovation Conference also brings industry-leading solutions providers to demonstrate the impact of technology in advancing innovation in the health care facilities field. The event’s technical exhibition features dynamic, interactive demonstrations from premier vendors and business partners servicing the areas of fire protection; heating, ventilating and air conditioning; power and electrical equipment; health care lighting, furnishings and flooring; building automation; safety and security; and many others.
