Summary Our health care facilities undergo intense scrutiny by a number of organizations for licensure and accreditation, and many facilities have even had to hire a full-time staff person just to oversee the various processes involved. Yet compliance, at least with the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s National Incident Management System (NIMS), is not as difficult as it may seem.
