I know many of us started 2022 in extremely challenging circumstances, with yet another COVID surge. These surges have impacted nearly every facet of hospital operations. But at the time of this email, there is a lot to be optimistic about. My health system in eastern Oregon and southwest Idaho is navigating many changes around this new phase of COVID, and I'm sure your facilities are in a similar state.
As we navigate this new phase, I am grateful for the network that ASHE provides to connect with other subject matter experts who are tackling similar questions and issues. For those who attended the recent PDC Summit in New Orleans, I am sure it was a refreshing experience to meet in person. I am also excited to see several Region 10 Chapters returning to their regular spring conference events. Great work on the planning for these valuable activities. And I know for some it can be challenging to take time away from your facility for in-person education and conferences. Just a reminder to please take advantage of all of the ASHE on-demand content, live online training programs and YouTube videos.
Looking to the summer – please mark your calendars to attend the ASHE Annual Conference in Boston on July 17-20. Registration is now open! Like the PDC Summit, I am certain ASHE Annual will have many great educational sessions and enthusiastic attendees.
