Description

In this Sustainability in Reliability Centered Maintenance Forum, participants will engage in discussion, led by the ASHE Sustainability RCM Task Force, to uncover if and how organizations are incorporating reliability centered maintenance strategies into their facility operations, how to better dovetail their RCM and energy efficiency/sustainability initiatives, and what tools or methods are used in tracking RCM and sustainability strategies throughout health care facilities.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify opportunities to integrate reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies with existing energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives in health care facility operations.
  • Conduct a risk-informed assessment of facility assets to evaluate their impact on safety, operations, and sustainability goals.
  • Select and justify the appropriate maintenance strategy for an asset based on its criticality, risk level, and contribution to sustainability outcomes.
  • Exchange and compare organizational practices and tools for tracking and aligning RCM efforts with long-term sustainability metrics.
